Copper Cathodes

The cathode materials for copper electrodeposition and electrolytic refining include thin copper starting sheet (traditional method) and permanent stainless steel plate (ISA, KIDD, OT, and EPCM technical methods). The cathode used for the permanent cathode electrolysis technique is composed of 316L stainless steel plate, current conducting rod, and insulated edge. The plate for the main part of the permanent cathode is made of 316L stainless steel, and the conducting rod forms are rectangular square copper tubes, copper-clad steel and steel-clad copper respectively.

Zinc Cathodes

The cathode plate for zinc electrodeposition is composed of such parts as aluminum plate, aluminum alloy conducting beam or pure aluminum conducting beam, composite conducting head (conducting strip), and lifting lugs and process by a specific process to be suitable for hydrometallurgical zinc electrodeposition.

Copper Anodes

Copper electrodeposition is the process of obtaining copper through metal deposition in copper-rich liquid by the electrodeposition method, which is the last process of producing copper by the wet method. In the leaching-extraction-electrodeposition process, water is decomposed on the anode to precipitate O2, and the cathodic process is the same as electrolytic refining, i.e. Cu²⁺ obtains electrons on the cathode and precipitates copper. Pb-based alloy anode plates with a lower corrosion rate are used.

Zinc Anodes

In recent years, Pb-Ag binary alloy anodes, Pb-Ag-Ca ternary alloy anodes, Pb-Ag-Ca-Sr quaternary alloy anodes and Pb-Ag-Ca-Sr-Re multi-element alloys have been selected and used by more and more metallurgical enterprises. Such anodes have such advantages as high strength, corrosion resistance, long service life, low cost, high conductivity, low electrical energy consumption, and high-quality zinc output.

Nickel Anodes

Nickel extraction by electrodeposition is performed in mixed electrolyte system of chloride and sulfuric acid. The anode used for nickel extraction by electrodeposition is required to be stable, corrosion-resistant and durable, with good electrocatalytic activity in the usage of anode, in order to reduce the overpotential and cell voltage of the anode.
